DHEA Sulfate (DHEA-S)
DHEA-S is an adrenal androgen and the most abundant steroid hormone in the body. It declines steadily with age. Low DHEA-S can suggest adrenal insufficiency or chronic stress exhaustion; high DHEA-S is rare in adult men outside of adrenal pathology.
