TRT in Singapore: What Bloods You Need First
Singapore has excellent private medicine and prices that reflect it. FORM is a pathology testing service for Singapore-based men: a full hormone, thyroid and metabolic panel run through accredited labs in Bali, under three hours from Changi, with a plain-English report reviewed by our medical lead, Dr. Nikola Topalovic (MD PhD). We do not prescribe, supply or arrange testosterone into Singapore or anywhere else.
Why the full axis. A basic testosterone test is easy to get in Singapore — most private GPs will order one. The harder part is getting the surrounding markers that make it interpretable: SHBG for the calculated free value, LH and FSH to locate the problem in the axis, sensitive estradiol and prolactin to catch the common confounders, and the metabolic panel to reveal when the real driver is insulin resistance, iron deficiency or thyroid dysfunction.
FORM's panel covers total and free testosterone (calculated from SHBG and albumin), sensitive estradiol, LH, FSH, prolactin, DHEA-S, AM cortisol, TSH with free T4 and free T3, fasting insulin, HbA1c, lipids, ferritin, vitamin D, vitamin B12 and inflammatory markers — the same breadth a Mount Elizabeth or Gleneagles endocrinologist would want in front of them.
Who reads your results. Dr. Nikola Topalovic (MD PhD), FORM's medical lead, reviews every panel. He is registered to practise in Indonesia and is not registered with the Singapore Medical Council, so his review is expert health information explaining your markers — not Singapore medical advice, and not a diagnosis. Testosterone is a Prescription Only Medicine under Singapore's Medicines Act and can only be prescribed by an SMC-registered doctor after their own assessment.
The logistics. SIN to DPS is one of the most-flown short-hauls in Asia, with multiple daily flights under three hours. Most Singapore clients book three or four nights: fasted morning draw on day one, consult once results return, report in hand before flying home. Fast overnight and be drawn between 7am and 10am — an afternoon sample will understate testosterone.
